A veiner allows you to make realistic imprints on flower paste.

Use a wire to attach to the leaf or petal. Place the wire first and then place the leaf or petal into the veiner. There are various techniques: By Alan Dun: roll out the past on a veining board or make sure there is a small edge in the middle of the paste. Place the wire into the edge and then place the petal/leaf into the veiner.

Another technique is: cut out the leaf/petal, wind paste around the wire, place the wire on the petal/leaf and put the whole thing in the veiner.
